A pedantic point maybe, but do you mean take them out of state school to continue their education at home - or to end their education altogether ?

Thankyou for your reply. I was refering to taking my daughter out of the Spanish state education system as soon as possible. Two reasons for this : We need to employ an extra pair of hands in the family business as soon as possible as we are coming up to our busy period, and obviously we would prefer to 'keep things in the family' - especially as it would guarantee her a legal job when they are so hard to come by at the moment. Secondly, she is finding things a little difficult at school at the moment and struggling with a number of subjects.

They need to be 16 before they can leave school legally, and 16 before they can start work legally.

Thankyou, If 16 yrs is the benchmark for both things it is obviously better to do things legally and wait a few months. Thankyou again.
