Tuesday's press reported that the loss of Taxes to the Government due to expected fuel savings would be an estimated 500mln Euros. Who knows if, or how this will impact fuel costs ? The 5% savings on discounted rail and metro tickets are not of much use when you live in a Village where the nearest train station is over 30km away (and even then the discounts are ONLY 5% and ONLY apply apply on a certain number of RENFE commuter routes) - Wow. Massive impact on encouraging people to leave their car at home. Not.

I've been in the UK just over 24 hours : a litre of unleaded is just over £1.39 and a liter of deisel is £1.46. I will never moan about the prices in Spain again ! ( proboably )

Mark my words : there is always an increase in the price in fuel in Autumn - usually November, and this almost always includes Gas - just as everyone start to require more of it.

News from the Generalitat Valencia that they will be adding 1cent onto all Petrol and Deisel sold in the region to go towards paying for the Healthcare defecit. How long until the other regions follow suit, I wonder ?
