Where can I get decent Fish & Chips ?

Before anyone berates me for not eating Spanish food, I do - and enjoy it. However, I haven't had 'British style' Fish and Chips in God-knows how many year and have been struggling with my cravings for a few weeks now. I know I will be hugely disappointed if I settle for anything less than very good quality and would be happy to travel within a 50 Mile radius of Alicante to find something worth having.
Can anybody recommend a good place to find Fish & Chips like this, fried in Veg oil (not Olive oil) - or better still beef dripping - coated in beer batter and with mushy peas ?

Sorry I didn't see this post earlier Delboy - hope the cravings haven't driven you mad by now !
- I know a pretty decent British Chippy in Benidorm - proper range and everything - with Monster portions, so I would recommend that only the really hungry venture for large. If my memory serves me correctly they had a decent choice of fresh fish, mushy peas and all that stuff aswell !

Sorry Delboy ... misssed the critical part of your question there !... I don't know the exact name of the place, but it is situated almost directly behind Wetherspoons on the Levante Beach in Benidorm. It is located down a quiet alley, but from memory there are plenty of signs from the road that runs parallel to the beach.
