Ademas / Tambien

Postby Vetxpat » Fri Sep 02, 2011 9:01 am

Are there different circumstances when I would use Tambien instead of Ademas ? - I understand them both to mean 'aswell' or 'also', but often hear them being used in different situations. I just wondered if there was a 'rule of thumb' ?

From what I can gather, 'Tambien' is used in place of the word 'Also' or 'aswell', whereas 'Ademas' would be used more in place of the English word 'furthermore', or 'Additionally'.
