I have two freinds who are seriously thinking about turning their property into a B&B. It is a property that they already own outright, and they have 3 outbuildings in very good condition that they believe they would be able to turn into small apartments quite easily.
They seem keen to go ahead and do this, renting the apartments 'in the black', but I am trying to convince them that they would be much better off doing this legally and going for Tourist board approval and marketing to a much wider range of would-be clients.
The are starting to consider what I have said, but for all my so-called advice, I have no idea at all HOW they should go about doing this.... any ideas ?
