Spain's industry ministry has launched a project to allocate EUR 97.5 million in loans to boost the digital transformation of Spanish businesses.
The loans are part of the "Industria Conectada 4.0" initiative launched last year, whose objectives include increasing the sector's competitiveness, developing the local offer of digital solutions and promoting Spanish industry and exports.
The amount allocated takes the form of interest-free loans repayable over 10 years for digitization projects amounting to at least EUR 150,000.
