Monarch Airlines has announed that it is set to increase the number of flights to and from Spain and its islands this winter by both adding some new routes and by upping the frequency of flights on existing routes.
Palma de Majorca is serviced from both Gatwick and Manchester three time per week throughout the year, with fares starting from £38.99 each way - which includes taxes and charges.
Other popular destinations which will be increased are to be Alicante, which will see more regular basis from Gatwick Birmingham and Manchester airports, while Malaga, Menorca, Gibraltar and Gran Canaria will each see their number of weekly flights from the UK rise.
Tim Jeans, The M.D. of Monarch Airlines commented: "The additional flying across the Monarch network over the winter months is reflective of the booking strength we are already seeing for flights to core destinations such as Alicante and Malaga. Our winter flying programme has been on sale since January 2010 and demand for flights to our Spanish destnations has continued to grow since then."
