Italian Stocks - Factors to watch on Sept 22

The following factors could affect Italian markets on Tuesday.

UNICREDIT

Its board will meet on Sept. 29 to discuss capital strengthening measures, financial sources told Reuters on Tuesday, after the bank said on Monday all options were open.

The bank will hold a strategy committee meeting later on Tuesday, the sources added, in preparation for the boardmeeting.

INTESA SANPAOLO

The bank's sale of its Banca Fideuram asset management unit and any possible recourse to government-backed bonds are "totally unconnected" issues, the bank's CEO said on Monday.

ENI

An Italian court is to hear a request from Milan prosecutors that the oil and gas group be barred from conducting business in Nigeria with the country's National Petroleum Corporation or itssubsidiaries.

FIAT

Citigroup raised its price target to 9.9 euros from 9 euros with a hold recommendation.

SAFILO

The family of Tod's Chairman Diego Della Valle has bought a stake of just over 2 percent in the eyewear maker and the Netherlands' Hal Investments, which has a stake in Safilo, is deciding on an offer for the company, several newspapersreported, some citing sources close to the matter.

RISANAMENTO

Milan prosecutors rejected the real estate company's restructuring plan but the company said in a statement it was confident that the court would accept it.

IRIDE

The utility's dividend payment could be at risk as the government could approve a decree that ups the amountex-municipal utilities have to pay back in funds linked to stateaid, La Stampa reported without citing sources.

SARAS

Credit Suisse raised it to "outperform" from "neutral".
