Spain announces 83 bln euro 5-year industry plan

Spain's government announced on Friday a five-year 83 billion euros plan to boost its industries, saying the spending was consistent with deficit reduction targets. Some of the funding is already contemplated in the 2011 budget, the most austere the country implemented in decades, Industry Minister Miguel Sebastian said on Friday.
