Blue have been unable to break Britain's' curse and take first place in the 56th anual Eurovision song contest in Dusseldorf. After a promising start the votes tailed off and the group finished in 11th place.
With an estimated 6 Million Brits living abroad, with 387'000 officially resident in Spain, it was suggested that expast could have played succeeded in carring Blue's contribution 'I Can' to victory.
The rules of the competition state that nobody can vote for their own country - but votes from other countries DO count.
Britain has won the competition 5 times previously, with the last winning entrant being "Love Shine A Light" by Katrina and the Waves.
Azerbaijan took first place, with Sweeden in second place. Spain's entry 'Que me quiten lo Bailao' (They can't take the fun away from me) by Lucía Pérez, finished in 23rd place.
