Latest news bulletins from the Cadena Sur Spanish radio stations report that a 40 year-old Spanish man has been admitted to hospital in San Sebastian in the Basque country, showing symptoms of the e.coli bacterial infection that has been rife in Germany.
The man, who has already been in hospital for 10 days now, is reported to be in a serious condition. It is understood that the man in question had recently spent some time in Germany.
