Police have reported that at 5am this morning a device detonated outside the offices of the Partido Popular in the town of Ordes, in the province of A Coruña in western Galica.
The Chief of the local Police, Eduardo Rodriguez, reported that there had been some damage to buildings close by with a large amount of broken glass, but that no injuries were sustained in the explosion.
There has as yet been no claim of responsibility, and no suspicion that it may have been caused by ETA or any other group with close associations with the Basque terrorists.
The town had a similar attack six years ago.
