Following yesterday's peaceful eviction of the remaining two-dozen M15 protestors from Madrid' Puerta del sol, 'Los Indignados' have promised to reclaim the square today.
As news spread of Tuesday's evictions, a number of different groups converged on the capital to occupy other areas, including Gran Vía and Cibeles heading by the Paseo del Prado towards Atocha, and were thought to number as many as 4'000 protestors.
As of this morning the protestors had been unable to take the square, following the Government's decision to close the Sol metro station yesterday evening and with strict police cordons regulating access now in place.
In Barcelona, sympathisers to the cause have set up camp once again in the Plaza Catalunya, the site of the violent clashes between protestors and police just 2 months ago.
