Spain Sept retail sales drop 5.8 pct

Spanish retail sales fell by 5.8 percent year-on-year on a calendar-adjusted basis in September, official data showed on Thursday after a revised fall of 3.8 percent in August.

The data from the National Statistics Institute (INE) marked the 15th month in a row of falling retail sales data.
