RBS to appoint Van Saun as finance director -paper

Royal Bank of Scotland is to appoint former Bank of New York Mellon executive Bruce Van Saun as its new finance director on Friday, the Daily Telegraph reported.

The paper said in its Friday edition that Van Saun, who wasa vice chairman and chief financial officer at BNY Mellon until July last year, will play a key role in chief executive Stephen Hester's attempts to return the bank to stand-alone health overthe next five years.
