Earlier today the Executive board members of Spanish low-cost airline Vueling unanimously recommended that shareholders accept an improved takeover offer from International Airline Group (IAG).
IAG, which already owns 45.85% of Vueling as well as British Airways and Spanish airline Iberia, had last month raised its takeover offer by almost one third after the Barcelona-based carrier rejected a previous bid.
The offer of €9.25 per share places the value of the Airline at around €277 Million.
Vueling is a very dangerous airline and hopefully this will sort that out. If you are anywhere near 6ft you will find that to sit in your seat, your knees have to be in front of the next door seat. In an emergency landing you would not have a chance.
