A PhD thesis written by researcher Monica Garcia Arboleda has found that more than 80% of immigrants are suffering from chronic stress.
Experts refer to the condition as "Ulysees Syndrome" due to a loss of Geographic references, with symptoms including anxiety, depression, confusion, low self-esteem, headaches and memory loss.
Arboleda interviewed 208 Immigrants living across the Region of Andalusia, and then categorised the results by age, gender, marital status, nationality and family status.
The study also concluded that both Men and Women were equally susceptible to the condition.
