Luis Miguel Gomez, an employee of a company from Minas de Riotinto (Huelva), has been on a hunger strike since Tuesday of last week, in protest over himself and his colleagues not having been paid for five months.
Although he has locked himself inside the company premises, he is being visited daily by a doctor and drinking isotonic drinks, he affirms that he will keep up his hunger strike until ‘the end'.
Neither Gómez nor his co-workers have been paid their monthly salary for the last five months, and he claims he will not give up his actions until employees receive the money that is due to them.
