Spain's Michelin Food Guide Sees New 3-Star Restaurant

 

Michelin has released their 2014 Good Food Guide to Spain and Portugal.

This year sees a new entry with a Three-Star restaurant - "Diverxo" - in Madrid, bring the country's total to 8 - including the top ranked restaurant in the world.

Spain's 3-Star Restaurants are :

* Arzak (San Sebastian)

* Arzumendi (Vizcaya)

* Akelare (San Sebastian)

* Diverxo (Madrid)

* Martin Berasategui (San Sebastian)

* Quique Dacosta (Valencia)

* San Pau (Barcelona)

* El Celler de Can Roca (Girona) ** currently World's No.1

Between them, Spain and Portgual have a further 19 two-star restaurants and 144one-star restaurants.
