Majorca may offer travellers the experience they are looking for when booking a holiday due to it offering a variety of options to suit many tastes. A spokesperson from Mallorca Farmhouses said: "Majorca is still affordable - it is both easy and relatively cheap to fly to with many low-cost airlines flying to Palma from a number of regional airports across the UK."
She added that those on a budget could also be attracted to the island by the wide ranging self-catering accommodation that is available.
According to a recent survey carried out by travel website, Travelzoo, an estimated 52 per cent of those surveyed would forego various luxury goods in preference to be able to afford a holiday.
