Spanish demand for power will likely take three to four years to recover to pre-crisis levels, the president of conventional power producers' group UNESA said on Tuesday. "As the crisis ends, our predictions are zero (growth over pre-crisis levels) for the first four to five years," Pedro Rivero said in an interview. "We don't expect any more decreases."
UNESA estimates demand for electricity in Spain has fallen by about 5 percent since the economic crisis began in late 2008, in a market which had previously been growing by some 5 percent a year.
