TripAdvisor just voted Martin Berasategui, a restaurant in northern Spain, the best restaurant on the planet.
The eponymous restaurant is headed by Chef Martin Berasategui, who has eight Michelin stars - more than any other Spanish chef.
The restaurant, in Lasarte, serves high-concept Basque fare. While dishes run the gamut from classic to zany, they all have one thing in common: They look more like artwork than something edible.
They are also small - only three or four mouthfuls - and pricey. Appetizers are around EU50 each, entrees around EU80, and desserts will cost you about EU37
