Low cost Airline Ryanair has announced a new partnership with one of Spain's biggest airlines, Air Europa.
The agreement will allow passengers to book Air Europa long-haul flights on the Ryanair website, covering 20 routes from Madrid to 16 countries in North, Central and South America, to destinations in Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico and the US.
Ryanair said how 'Phase 2' of its Air Europa partnership will be launched later this year, allowing its customers to connect onto Air Europa flights through Madrid-Barajas.
The alliance could prove to be a problem for IAG's low-cost carrier Vueling, along with Spanish flag carrier Iberia.
Ryanair is also in discussions with other long-haul airlines on prospective feed and connecting flight partnerships.
Ryanair predicts providing flights for over 130 Million passengers over an ever increasing number of routes in 2018.Ryanair, which became Europe's largest airline by passenger numbers in January, has been focusing growth away from the UK market following the result of last year's referendum to leave the EU.
