Jet2 has announced the addition of thousands of extra passenger seats to Spain in response to an increase in demand at Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds Bradford Airports.
The move comes in response to the recent demise of Monarch Airlines, and the prolonged uncertainty surrounding the cancelation of flights by Ryanair.
Birmingham Airport :
* Additional flights for the winter schedule will include: Alicante, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Malaga, Majorca, and Tenerife.
* Additional flights for the summer schedule will include: Alicante, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Malaga, Majorca, and Tenerife.
Manchester Airport :
* Additional flights for the winter schedule will include: Alicante, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Malaga and Tenerife.
* Additional flights for the summer schedule will include: Alicante, Barcelona, Ibiza, Lanzarote, Malaga, Menorca and Majorca.
Leeds Bradford Airport :
* Additional flights for the winter schedule will include: Alicante, Lanzarote, Malaga and Majorca.
* Three extra weekly flights to Tenerife from Leeds Bradford Airport, including Saturday.
London Stansted Airport :
* Additional services and 5,000 additional seats in October and November, particularly during Half-Term holidays, to Tenerife, Lanzarote, Alicante and Mallorca.
