iShares Silver Trust holdings fall 73.42 T Sept 1

The world's largest silver-backed exchange-traded fund, the iShares Silver Trust SLV, said its bullion holdings fell 73.42 tonnes or nearly 1 percent on Sept 1st.

The New York-based trust, which issues securities backed by physical stocks of silver, now holds 8,668.65 tonnes of bullion, against 8,742.07 tonnes on Aug 31.
