Spanish unions said on Thursday they would challenge in the courts plans to cut wages as part of Spain's austerity measures.
They said unions had still not seen details of the government's measures, due to be announced later on Thursday after a cabinet meeting, and there was growing uncertainty surrounding the austerity plans.
"We don't know what the cabinet meeting today is about," said Julio Lacuerda, a representative from Spain's second largest union UGT, speaking at a press conference called by major Spanish trade unions.
