Recent data released by the Instsitute of National Statistics (INE) reveal that the number of those seeking unemployment benefits in Spain fell by almost 84,000 last month.
The laest fall of 2% marked the third consecutive monthly decline, the most encouraging figures of the year so far. However, June is typically a good month for employment figures given that it marks the begining of the tourist season.
Statistics show that the number of unemployed is 11.7 percent higher than this time last year, currently standing at 3,982,368, which is the highest in the Eurozone.
