Only 5 % of Spanish people surveyed saw the country's economic situation as good, while 63 % regarded it as "very bad," the newspaper said. 41 % percent in Japan also viewed their economy as very bad, ranking them the second- most negative, while the U.K. placed third with 34 %, the FT said.
In contrast, 85 % of consumers in India saw their country's economic situation as good, along with 77 % in China and 65 % in Brazil.
