Spain is not pressuring Portugal to seek a financial rescue, a government source told Reuters on Friday.
Euro zone nations and its central bank are urging Portugal to apply for a financial bailout from a European rescue fund, Financial Times Deutschland reported.
"What Spain wants is for Portugal to pass its budget and fulfill its stability program," the source said, asking not to be named.
