Telefonica
Spain's Telefonica and No. 2 Chinese mobile operator China Unicom will deepen their strategic alliance by buying an additional $500 million stake in each other, the Spanish company said on Sunday.
SANTANDER
The president of Santander Chile said the bank, Chile's largest, plans to increase loans up to $5.5 billion in 2011 as it seeks to lure more clients, a local newspaper reported on Saturday.
IBERIA
British Airways cabin crew voted on Friday to strike again in a long-running battle over proposed job and pay cuts, casting a shadow over the completion of the airline's merger with Spain's Iberia.
Separately, the new airline (IAG) will immediately begin looking for new merger partners once the merger has been finalised, the chairman Antonio Vazquez said in London, Expansion reported.
