Spain plans to launch the second tranche of its FADE power tariff bond on Monday or Tuesday next week, two industry sources said on Friday.
The sources said the issue is likely to be for 2 billion euros, the same amount Spain sold in the first tranche in mid-January, but that the size of the issue depends on market conditions.
A spokesman from Spain's Treasury denied there was any definitive decision taken on whether to issue the bonds next week. "There has been absolutely no decision taken about the date of a tariff bond issue," the spokesman said.
