The Spanish Football League's first division side, Real Zaragoza, has filed for Bankruptcy due to unpaid debts of around 110 Million Euros.
The Aragon-based club, which was founded in 1932, blamed it's debts on the financial costs involved in being relegated from the first division in the 2007/8 season. The team was promoted back to the first division at the end of the following season, however, the costs involved in doing this were unrecoverable.
The Team finished 20th overall in la liga this season, following a managerial change in November of last year.
