The deputy leader of Spain's PSOE party, Marcelino Iglesias, has denied speculation that they may set an election date before March of next year, despite many in the party calling for an early to coincide with expected favourable economic data, which would stand the party in a positive light with the electorate.
Iglesias, spoke of the party giving the Prime Minister, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, their full support and backing, and insisting that he would see out his full term of of office in order to complete the reforms the reforms that the government had planned.
