Following the recent protest marches that began in a number of Towns and Cities in Spain, and ended when they reached the capital on the weekend, more of the 'Indignados' plan to march from Madrid to Brussels to bring their concerns to the European Parliament.
The 50-strong group set off from the Puerta del Sol yesterday morning on the 1'500 Kilometre march to the Belgian capital with hundreds of supporters cheering them on. The group have set themselves a target of 24km per day, which means that their arrival in Brussels is expected to be on October 8th.
The plan is to gain support and followers joining the march along the way and eventually meet up with other protest groups from other European countries to take part in a much larger demonstration in October.
