Access to and from Gibraltar was disrupted yesterday due to an angry group of protestors who blocked the road for around an hour.
However, despite recent on-going reports surrounding tripartite talks between Gibraltar, Spain and the UK, the protest had nothing to do with sovereignty of the Rock.
Instead, the Protest was held by council workers of the Ayuntamiento of La Línea, over unpaid wages of Town Hall staff, concerning the backlog of unpaid wages.
Workers had previously agreed not to take any action which would cause disruption to the Town's recent Feria.
