Madrid plays host to the Catholic Church's World Youth Day later this month, which will also be attended by Pope Benedict XVI.
Tens of thousands of Catholics, well-wishers and tourists are expected to pack the streets of the Spanish capital to welcome the Pope, and this has been seized upon by one particular entrepreneurial business.
Renova, a toiletries and Pharmaceutical company - who are also official sponsors of the World Youth Day - have produced a special edition toilet paper to commemorate the visit. The loo roll will be in the official white and yellow colours of the Vatican and will also use the same incense as a fragrance. Perhaps more worryingly, is the fact that it will also show the face of the Pope.
The Manufacturers have denied that any disrespect was intended and countered that the special edition toilet paper was sold with the intention to be used for decorative purposes.
