A bull running event modelled on the world famous fiesta in Pamplona has been proposed for a small Town in Phoenix, Arizona.
Town officials of Cave Creek, have refused to support the event, which essentially absolves the town of any liability, but does not necessarily mean that the event will not go ahead.
The Mayor of the Town, Vincent Francia, has no objection to the town hosting the event, however says that the permit was refused because the promoter had insufficient insurance coverage.
The town wants 2 million euros worth of insurance cover for the event, but the promoter say they can only afford 1.4 million Euros as other costs are needed to be met in order to organise the event.
