On-line retail giant, Amazon, will finally launch their Amazon.es Spanish version on September 15th, according to a report in El Pais newspaper.
To start with the Spanish language version of the portal will only be selling small, physical products such as Books, DVD's and CD's, following a purchasing drive over the past 12 months to acquire sufficient stocks.
Amazon intend to have their full range of products available by the end of 2011, including their popular Kindle e-reader and associated e-books. Amazon, who are by far the world's largest bookseller, recently reported that the sale of their Kindle books had started to outstrip sales of the traditional paper books.
