Roche, the International Pharmaceutical corporation, has warned Spain's regional governments that it will stop supplying products to their hospitals and clinics due to the amount of debt that is owed to them.
Earlier today El Pais reported how the CEO of Roche gave an interview to the New York Times, explaining how the company is losing patience with the regional authorities, and may consider stopping supplies as they have done with Greece.
Regions such as Castilla y León have now recommenced with payments following two years of delays, but Roche reports arreas now stand at an average of 900 days. Other regions have an average of 600 days arreas.
