British bookmaker Ladbrokes has entered into an agreement with gambling software designer, Microgaming, as its casino and poker software provider for the newly regulated Spanish market.
Ladbrokes has commented how it expects to launch its new online facility from January 2012, as soon as it has been able to obtain the required licences, with the Spanish site to be branded " LBApuestas.es ".
"We have a strong relationship with Microgaming and our players have always reacted well to their products; we are pleased to be working with them as we target new licences in Spain and Denmark, markets familiar to Ladbrokes already," said Adam Greenblatt, director of corporate and strategic development.
The move was announced by ladbrokes earlier today and develops the relationship between Ladbrokes and Microgaming and following the renewal of their partnership earlier this years.
"We have had a long and successful relationship with Ladbrokes and are delighted to be entering these two exciting markets with them," said Microgaming head of business development Andy Clucas. "Once granted a licence, Ladbrokes will be able to offer the most competitive range of products."
