Ryanair has introduced sales of tickets on it´s website from Reus airport in Tarragona to four new European cities as of March 25th of next year.
Ryanair pulled out of Reus airport as an operational hub earlier this month, suspending flights for the winter season at the same time.
Routes have gone on sale to Birmingham and Liverpool in the UK, with routes being added to Charleroi (Belgium) and Weeze (Düsseldorf, Germany) just 2 days later.
Ryanair´s Director of European Communication, Daniel de Carvalho, has confirmed that the airline has no plans to reopen its operational base at the airport of Reus (Tarragona) next summer, due to the lack of promotion of the area by the regional authorities.
These four new routes are added the existing destinations of Bristol, Dublin, East Midlands, Frankfurt, Glasgow and Manchester.
AENA are working with a number of National,Regional and Local Government departments in attracting further airlines to commence flights to Reus.
