The 'Right to Life' anit-abortion camapign group delievered a box of 300 dummies to the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality earlier this week, to represent the 300 abortions taking place in Spain every day.
The group also called up the new Minister, Ana Mato, to do all she could to reversethe current abortion law passed by the previous PSOE administration.
Europa Press reported how around 60 people took part in the event, with one member dressed up as one of the three wise men to deliver the 'gift', in reference to the country preparing to celebrate the 'three kings' fiesta.
The campaigners also handed the Minister a letter reminding her of the statement she made a few months ago before the new administration was voted into office, where she referred to abortion "a tragedy for women and a failure for all of society."
Right to Life wrote how the power to "overturn the law" is "in her hands,"and that "the more the necessary political action to combat this scourge is postponed, the more responsibility she bears."
The group ended the letter by asking the Minister to help ensure that "no woman would be deprived of being able to experience the treasure of motherhood" and that no baby would be "deprived of life."
