Technical Programming and Operations workers at Madrid-Barajas airport have called three days of strike action over the collective bargaining agreement made between the unions and AENA, which has been extended to cover all employees at the airport.
Strike dates have been called for the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of February; the 16th and 19th of March; the4th, 8th and 30th of April and the 2nd and 3rd of May.
In a letter to the Minister of Development, Ana Pastor, unions noted how the TPO personnel involved in the strike action are employed in the the direct area of airport security, particularly the provision of aeronautical information service and the allocation of boarding gates and checking facilities to airlines.
