Spain has implemented a new procedure to simplify the visa application process for Chinese citizens wishing to visit the country.
A Spokesman for national tourist board, Turespana, confirmed that these changes would take effect in the very near future, and that the new system would enable the three consulates in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou to be able to process an increased number of visas without having to resort to increasing the number of employees.
The number of Chinese tourists visiting Spain increased by 25% during 2011, from 128,454 in 2010. There are no official estimates for the number of Chinese visitors expected for 2012, although a further increase has been expected.
I am an American citizen but own a condo in Nerja, Spain. My wife is a chinese citizen who has permanent visa and lives with me here in United Stetes of America.
Does she need a visitor visa to go to Spain for 2 weeks ?
