The Minister of Economy for the region of Valencia, Maximo Buch, reported yesterday that the Generalitat is considering 2 separate offers for the operation of Castellón airport.
The concession holder of the airport - Aerocas - which is 98% owned by the Generalitat, have confirmed that the Hispano-Libyan offer is still being considered, but that it is no longer an exclusive option.
Last weekend the President of Aerocas, Carlos Fabra, commented how no offer would be considered unless it came with a Bank Guarantee.
Buch also confirmed how the main objective of the Generalitat was for the airport to be operational by the end of the year, and as such are open to "all options", providing they are viable.
