Tickets for the world famous Spanish ‘ El Gordo ' Christmas Lottery have gone on sale for 2013 in Spain with early results suggesting it will be a sell out year.
The ‘El Gordo' Spanish Lottery is one of the world's largest lottery competitions with BILLIONS in Euros up for grabs.
Traditionally tickets go on sale just before the Spanish summer holiday season, however this year has seen record sales as hard pressed Spaniards seek to improve their fortunes in the face of deep recession and uncertainty.
This year's draw will take place on Sunday, 22nd of December, but with tickets selling fast, analysts are advising punters to act quickly to avoid disappointment.
Tickets can be bought in most Lottery outlets in Spain or local bars and shops for an additional handling fee, however you can obtain a range of ticket numbers and improve your odds of winning a prize even if you are NOT resident in Spain by getting your tickets online here .
