The majority shareholder behind Aeromur - the former concession holder of Murcia's Corvera Airport - has announced it is to sell it's property division.
In a note issued this morning, following Monday's board meeting, Sacyr announced their intention to sell the Vallhermoso arm of their business.
"Sacyr received signs of interest from third parties in acquiring Vallehermoso, although they have still not been finalised," the company said in a note to the stock exchange regulator.
Aeromur had their contract to run Corvera Airport terminated on September 20th, following what the regional government consider to be their prolonged inability to bring the airport into operation.
Last week the company complained to the Supreme Court after the Guardia Civil, acting under the instruction of the Ministry of Public Works, prevented the company from entering the airport and from removing items of equipment from the premises under terms of the contract dissolution can be legally confirmed.
