Vodafone Spain announced that work is underway to bring its fibre optic service to the southern Spanish city of Marbella in the Andalucia region.
The FTTH (Fibre-optic for the home) network will be extended to around 25,000 households by the end of 2015, allowing customers to access the internet at speeds of up to 200 Mbps.
The operator also confirmed that its 4G service now covers around 70% of Marbella and is expected to reach 90% by the end of the year and 98% of the city by March next year.
