Sean Connery and his wife have been ordered to give statements in a Spanish court next week, concerning the Malaga city municipal corruption case.
Connery and his wife owned and regularly visited a chalet - a house built in a Swiss design - in Marbella during their vacations their up until 1999. The Chalet is no longet there and has since been replaced with a four-storey building which was finished in 2005.
Judge Ricardo Puyol is trying to determine whether crimes were committed in this case after the land that the chalte stood on was re-certified to allow the construction of 72 luxury apartments.
Puyol set the date for the couple's testimony after British authorities in Spain provided the address of Connery in the Bahamas, the Sur newspaper reported.
