Travelling to and from Spain can be a source of numerous logistical problems. It can also result in costs that can vary greatly depending upon the method, route and time of year that you need to travel.
Tumbit's advice is to shop around – there are often deals to be had if you know where to look and can be a little flexible with your plans.
If you are flying back to the UK from your home in Spain you may have boarding Kennels or catteries to think of for your pets, and airport parking for your vehicle, and then on arrival in the UK you may need to consider airport transfers or car hire – all on top of the flight itself !
There are several carriers which have regular flights back to UK and into most, if not all, of the major and smaller airports across the UK. The considerations when bringing your own vehicle over are many and you need to ensure that you comply with the Road Traffic Law in Spain and that you also have the correct Green Card Insurance from your provider in the UK.
